I found this sweet little Seattle garden a few weeks ago over on the beautiful Northwest Botanicals website while combing the internet for some front yard landscaping ideas. It’s a small corner garden that started out with some scraggly plants slung over a bed of dirt and gravel, and it has evolved into a corner that’s quite charming. Of course, I now that I found this one I want my very own version, but I don’t think that will be happening any time soon.
It’s a pretty huge improvement for such a tiny space, yeah? This photo was taken 2 years after the first one and I love how it came together! I’m really digging how the fence has taken on tone that’s a bit weathered– I think it makes for a great, subtle backdrop for a vibrant group of plants. And since I’m always a sucker for adding height to walls or ledges with a couple pretty container plants, I’m a pretty big fan of that brick wall.
