Narrated by Jane Oppenheimer & Christina Delaine, Kills Well with Others is the second audiobook in the Killers of a Certain Age series by Deanna Raybourn. I love this kick-ass group of senior assassins. Billie, Helen, Mary Alice, and Natalie are called back to duty by the museum as someone is targeting agents. An action packed and hilarious tale awaits you.

Four women assassins, senior in status—and in age—sharpen their knives for another bloody good adventure in this riotous follow-up to the New York Times bestselling sensation Killers of a Certain Age.
After more than a year of laying low, Billie, Helen, Mary Alice, and Natalie are called back into action. They have enjoyed their time off, but the lack of excitement is starting to chafe: a professional killer can only take so many watercolor classes and yoga sessions without itching to strangle someone…literally. When they receive a summons from the head of the elite assassin organization known as the Museum, they are ready tackle the greatest challenge of their careers.
Someone on the inside has compiled a list of important kills committed by Museum agents, connected to a single, shadowy figure, an Eastern European gangster with an iron fist, some serious criminal ambition, and a tendency to kill first and ask questions later. This new nemesis is murdering agents who got in the way of their power hungry plans and the aging quartet of killers is next.
Together the foursome embark on a wild ride across the globe on the double mission of rooting out the Museum’s mole and hunting down the gangster who seems to know their next move before they make it. Their enemy is unlike any they’ve faced before, and it will take all their killer experience to get out of this mission alive.
It’s been a year since Billie, Helen, Mary Alice, and Natalie have worked a case. All of them have enjoyed the time off, but can’t contain their excitement when they are called back into action. Naomi Ndiaye, the head of the elite assassin organization known as the Museum, meets them and delivers some startling news. Someone within the agency has released info regarding kills and operatives are being assassinated. While it isn’t wholly necessarily to listen to Killers of A Certain Age to enjoy this second novel, I recommend beginning there.
The tale that unfolds was delicious, action-packed and hilarious, complete with a chicken. The four of them need to hunt down not only the person seeking revenge, but the thugs doing their dirty work and the insider responsible for setting a killer upon them. They end up going into hiding and gathering loved ones to protect them.
The four women travel around the globe trying to get ahead of their clever nemesis and I delighted in the chase’s thrill, the girls’ interactions and the companions who accompanied them. Raybourn offered a thrilling escape from reality with undercover work, daring chases, and plenty of humor. The story is shared mostly from Billie’s perspective and parts are flashbacks to the case that started all of this. It was brilliantly done.
Jane Oppenheimer & Christina Delaine narration gave voice to these women. They capture not only their personalities but the humor and tone of the story. I highly recommend listening as the story lends itself perfectly to this format.
Fans of thrillers, mysteries, assassins, secret agencies, friendship and humor will want to grab Kills Well with Others.
