Easy Stop System for Miter Saw
My first piece of advice is to incorporate your miter saw into a cabinet system that provides level support tables on both sides, coplanar with the base of the saw. My setup also includes rear fences that align with the saw. Once you have a setup like that, your work stops can be as simple as the T-square panels shown here. They slide anywhere along the support tables, keeping their edges square to the sawblade for accuracy. —ERIC RIMEL, Spring Green, Wis.
