In May 2024 Chris and I were filmed for a small segment on BBC’s Escape to the Country. Nicki Chapman wanted to pop over to ask how our move back in February 2021 had gone to give some advice to another couple thinking of moving to the area near us.
It rained quite a bit, which led to Nicki and us hiding in the old pigsty which we now use as a log store during one big downpour. But the garden looked OK – it wasn’t really ready to be filmed as I’m still working on it, but people can have a quick look at some of our small farm. It also meant we were lucky to use one of the Escape to the Country branded pink umbrellas. We both really want one, they match our wheelbarrow!
The stars of the show though were our two chickens, Chickie and Chickie.
