American actor Dylan Garrett was born in Jeffersonville, Indiana, on March 21, 1996. Dylan is the son of Jeffrey Garrett and Tina Carroll. He also has a younger sister named Danielle. Dylan is of English, German, Irish, Scottish, and Austrian descent. Growing up mainly in Sellersburg, IN, Dylan became extremely interested in acting, movies, and television, almost without realizing it at the age of nine. Because of his vivid and wide imagination, Dylan grew up feeling greatly misunderstood and often confused, resulting in being an outcast amongst his peers. He later sought passion in gymnastics and music. He graduated from Silver Creek High School in 2014.
Dylan went on to attend the University of Louisville as a clarinet performance major. Not long after his sophomore year, he quickly burnt out of music. He finally realized that acting is what he had been wanting to do all along. He immediately started taking various acting, voice, and movement classes at his school’s theatre department and took part in plays such as “The Long Christmas Ride Home” and “MMF”, both of which he played lead roles.
