Adjustable base manufacturer Symphony Sleep has introduced a new video tool designed to assist
brick-and-mortar retailers at the point of sale. This initiative seeks to address common challenges such as
understaffing and limited training resources for retail sales associates (RSAs).
The videos, available free to Symphony Sleep retail partners, can be accessed via QR codes displayed with each
product on the showroom floor. Customers can scan the code to watch a two- to three-minute professionally produced
video that highlights key features and benefits of the product.
The initial rollout includes videos for the company’s five primary adjustable bases – S100N, ES200,
ES500, ES600, and ES700 – with plans to expand the library to include popular accessories like the Elevation
Kit, Hi-Low Kit, Sleep Safe, and the Sleep Sense sleep tracker.
“These videos can solve a real pain point for many retailers – training and retaining retail sales
associates – by enabling them to maximize the opportunities of every door swing,” said John Schulte,
president of Innovative Sleep Technologies, the parent company of Symphony Sleep.
Schulte noted that the videos are especially useful when stores are understaffed or experiencing high customer
traffic. They provide an engaging, self-guided introduction to the products while allowing RSAs to focus on
advancing the sale, upselling accessories, and closing transactions.
